I am an artist living and working in Southern California. I draw with a rapidograph because it is a clean and precise tool that is easily controlled. Watercolor paper is used for texture. I prefer working in black and white because I love the starkness and contrast. My technique of filling in the lines can be considered tedious and time-consuming, but for me, it is meditative and soothing. I constantly challenge and push myself. The transition to multi-layered drawings is the result. |
